Overview
Once your bidding window closes, it’s time to select the right video professional to bring your project to life. Marketplace makes this simple by surfacing pitches from a vetted network of video pros, ranked by how well they match your project needs.
Review and Accept a Bid
1. Watch the Bids Come In
After you submit your brief, video pros have three days to review your project brief and submit their bids. You will be notified when your bidding window ends.
2. Review Preferred Bids First
Once bidding ends, you’ll see your top three Preferred Bids. Preferred bids represent the Video Professionals best suited for your project based on factors such as skill alignment, experience, and overall best fit to take on the scope of your project.
3. Explore all Video Pro Bids
If you’d like to dig deeper, you can view all submitted bids. Each includes a video pro bio, project pitch, and curated video examples to help you compare styles and approaches.
4. Accept a Bid
When you’ve found the right fit, agree to the terms, Accept Bid, and your project will begin.
Dismiss Bids
If you receive bids that you don’t want to move forward with, you can dismiss them. You can also dismiss bids if you need to make edits to your project brief. Doing so will return your project to Draft status so you can edit and resubmit.
1. Review Bids
When your project receives bids from Video Professionals, review each one to determine which best fits your needs.
2. Dismiss Bids
If you decide not to proceed with a specific bid, click Dismiss. This will remove that bid from consideration for your project.
3.Return to Draft to Edit Your Brief
If you need to make edits to your project brief after bidding has ended, the best path is to dismiss all bids. This will return your project to Draft status. From there, you can make any necessary updates before resubmitting.
⚠️ Warning: Once bids are dismissed, they cannot be restored. If you resubmit your project, previously dismissed bids will not reappear in the new round of bidding.
