Overview

All QuickFrame production packages include digital usage rights in-perpetuity.This means brands expect to receive and retain ownership of the final deliverables to run on any digital platform indefinitely.

What Are Digital Rights?

Digital rights allow brands to use the creative content on online and digital platforms such as CTV, social media, and paid digital advertising.

What Are Broadcast Rights?

Broadcast rights allow content to run on traditional media channels such as television and radio.

Digital Rights (Included)

All QuickFrame production packages include digital rights in perpetuity. This means:

  • Customers automatically receive digital rights in perpetuity.

  • They own the final deliverables.

  • They can use the content on any digital platform (CTV, social media, paid digital advertising, etc.).

  • Usage Rights never expire.

πŸ“ Note: If content is created under an MNTN Creative program, customers cannot run it on other Connected TV (CTV) platforms outside of MNTN.

Broadcast Rights (Optional Add-On)

If a customer wants to purchase broadcast rights, you will see β€œBroadcast Rights” listed as a Service under "Services".

QuickFrame asks customers to provide the following in the Notes section:

  • Duration needed – how long the ad will run (e.g., 3 months, 6 months, 1 year).

  • Target budget – helps you understand what they can realistically afford.

  • Geo specifications – where the ad will run (local or national).

Your role as a Video Pro: Use the brand notes to estimate what the broadcast usage rights may cost. Include the cost of the broadcast rights in your total bid amount.

Important to Know

  • Customers can still secure rights after the video is produced, but it is harder to negotiate terms, pricing, and duration.

  • It is the responsibility of you (the Video Pro) and the brand to negotiate, secure, and finalize broadcast usage rights. QuickFrame does not procure or manage these rights.

  • A mutually agreed-upon contract between you and the brand is highly recommended. This contract should outline the terms and conditions of broadcast usage rights.

    • QuickFrame does not provide contract templates.

    • Once signed, the contract must be uploaded to the Broadcast Rights Custom Service for the brand to review and sign.
