When creating a project, it's important to define two key scheduling elements:
Bidding Window End Date
Project Due Date
These help ensure the right Makers see your project and that timelines are aligned for efficient production.
What is the Bidding Window?
The Bidding Window is the period during which Makers can view, review, and submit a bid to work on your project. It starts when your project is submitted and remains open until your selected Bidding Window End Date.
โณ Minimum Bidding Window: 3 Days
All projects require a minimum 3-day bidding window โ why? This minimum ensures your project is visible to a broad, diverse pool of qualified Makers, giving them enough time to:
Review your creative brief
Ask clarifying questions (if needed)
Submit a thoughtful, competitive bid
๐ก The more time you allow, the more qualified bids you'll receive. Rushing the bidding process may limit your Maker pool and affect final output quality.
Setting Your Project Due Date
In addition to the bidding window, youโll also set a Project Due Date. This is when you expect final deliverables to be completed and delivered.
Be sure to allow enough time after the bidding window closes for pre-production, production, and post-production work and revisions to take place.
